You probably all heard about One More Thing, an iOS developer conference which went down in Melbourne a few weeks ago. 160 people attended and it was great fun. A few people even emailed me to say they have a new found desire to launch or start work on their iOS projects. A nice warm fuzzy feeling ensued.

I want to do a follow up video podcast series where we get all the speakers, plus some new faces, to answer the glut of questions regarding iOS development we had from the audience, as well as new ones from those who didn't attend the conference. To do this with a production quality and a level we would be proud of, will cost $25,000. That's a fair chunk of change!

Been thinking about attending One More Thing? Well ya ain't got long left to deliberate, as ticket sales end at 11:59pm on Wednesday the 10th of August - that's really soon! You may have heard about the Opena, a cool iPhone 4 case with a built in bottle opener, that's been made by MacTalker cplicious (aka, Chris Peters). He's using the Kickstarter site to fund it and it's been quite a success! (but is *this* close to being fully funded - support em now!) I caught up with him at his Oakleigh workshop for a quick chat about the Opena - how he came up with the idea, his background and what he hopes to achieve.
