YouTube Wednesday - Mere mortals

Welcome back to YouTube Wednesday! Occasionally educational, rarely profound, always entertaining.



This is the first track on iTunes made entirely with an iPhone; made possible with the app FourTrack. The band's name is "The 88" (reminds me of a certain Tarantino scene).* 14 tracks were recorded in all, essentially they combined four tracks into two and just repeated the process. Only other piece of equipment you will spot later is an Alesis ProTrack as they wanted to to-record the lead vocal at the end. Simply plug your iDevice into this gadget to control the input level over both the mic and the headphones separately, cool piece of kit.
