    Have you ordered a 27" i7 iMac? Has it arrived intact? Some haven't.

    Will the next iteration of iWork and iLife be intel only? Maybe.

    I'd max the RAM (4Gb would do), and pick up a fast 1TB+ 7200RPM hard disk for it; not worth spending a huge deal on an SSD when it costs more than the

    The Barracuda is a common HD in these machines, I'd do an SMC reset which should settle the fans down. Also check that all fans are operating properly/plugged
