There's news about this on every Apple site out there, so I'll just play along and link to Daring Fireball's analysis of the news, because Mein Gruber wins at life.

CNN ponders if Apple still needs Steve Jobs.

The other news right now is that the iPhone 3G S hit our Atlantic cousins with a relatively sedate bang. Everyone managed to get one and overall, people are happy with them. Again, run over to any goddamn Apple or tech related website for anything you could ever want to know about the launch. AnandTech again, bring home the delicious bacon in a way only the OCD geeks at AnandTech can, with benchmarks galore of the new devices.

Apple has sold 1 million iPhone 3GSesesssesss. Eat that Palm.

Woz wanted to get a 3G S on launch day, so he went to his local Apple store and asked the dude at the front if he can go first, because he's Woz, or busy, or something. Coolest thing was that the guy who was 2nd got his iPhone signed by Woz. So he has an iPhone 3G S Woz. Like the Apple II GS Woz. Niiiiice.

Camcorder Reviews takes an interesting step and reviews the 3G S purely on a video recording device stance. I'm pretty content with myself that I didn't give in an buy a Flip camera now.

More about the camera in the 3G S: it can apparently record 720p video.

Here's a list of stuff being worked on or has been fixed already in the latest development seed of Mac OS X 10.5.8 - I hope that annoying bug you submitted has been resolved.

Manomio made a pretty sweet Commodore 64 emulator for the iPhone. Unfortunately, it's not up on the App Store because the App Store rules specifically say no emulators. Damn.

Safari got a big kick in the bum as part of iPhone OS 3.0 - it can now use GPS info. Flickr took this feature and made their mobile website detect where you are and show you photos taken in the area. How cool is that?
