• Gather round folks, because I've got a serious question to ask you. It's not quite as bad as using your iPad or iPhone in the toilet, but, just between you and I... Do you bring your iPad to bed?

What's the big deal with Windows Phone 7? Why are all the larger fish making a huge fuss over it? It's not like we didn't know the next great version of the every popular WinMo wouldn't be huge, so what's the big idea?

As windowing interfaces get increasingly complex to meet our ever-growing window management needs, apps like HyperDock are filling in the cracks. I've mentioned HyperDock before, but it's that good it's actually worth mentioning again (perhaps not as worthy of as many mentions as that burning program, though).

There's some pretty graphs of who's suing who in the mobile tech space, but one of the best I've seen comes from Design Language. Sure, it doesn't give you any specifics on the actual lawsuits themselves, but hey, pretty colours!

Gameloft released Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus not too long ago, and if the iLounge review is anything to go by then it seems to be one of the more impressive iPhone FPS games released to date.

Apparently the rumour mill has come full circle, with the release of these mock-ups of additional iPhone form factors. Now available in ultra-deathgrip, regular-deathgrip, and light-deathgrip!

The latest on the iPhone app front is Instagram, an app that aims to be your one-stop app for sharing pictures on your mobile device. It's certainly very pretty designed, and with a price of free, what's not to love?

Speaking of rumours, something that apparently isn't an rumour any longer is the existence of a CDMA iPhone. I don't know why the Yanks love their CDMA as much as they do, but for them, a CDMA iPhone means that they're finally free from the clutches of AT&T.

Bit.Trip BEAT is like Pong meets AudioSurf — it's dynamic, it's really catchy, and the excellent gameplay will have you hooked. Pretty sure this one was originally on the Wii, but it's now available for the iPhone.

Finally this morning, we have Think Different, Dress Alike — Apple just introduced Steve Jobs' personal clothing line, and I really wish I could think of something funny to say here.

I second Byrd and bartron - max out the RAM, stick in a fast, big HDD, and do a fresh install of Snow Leopard, and you'll be very happy with that machine.

I'd max the RAM (4Gb would do), and pick up a fast 1TB+ 7200RPM hard disk for it; not worth spending a huge deal on an SSD when it costs more than the
