Apple killed off the white MacBook last week, but they're not leaving out educational institutions out in the cold. Instead, they're offering an educational-exclusive 13-inch MacBook Air for a cheaper price — the 13" MacBook Air has the same specs as the base model 11", but at a cost of US $999 when bought in bulk.

Also on the pretty cool list is an iPhone rangefinder. It's not just about looking the part, though, the iPhone rangefinder also allows you to take photos using the shutter and viewfinder.
MacStories has good reason to believe there's a good case for an iOS version of Aperture right about now, and they have a few good reasons to back that up.
Sir Jonny Ive might be credited with all of the Apple designs today, but what about before Sir Jonathan? Jerry Manock was the man who designed the Apple II, and Seven Days has a profile of him.
