• If you've been scratching that long-forgotten itch that is gaming on your Mac, and you're looking to fill the hole that Steam just can't seem to fill, fear no more - Mac AppStorm bring you the ultimate list of 50 free Mac games. With that serious number comes serious responsibility - remember, you've got work to do!

Last Monday I told you about Eliss for iPad, which was blatantly wrong. I apologise - as a gesture of my sincerity in this matter, I bring you*Enigmo for iPad! I still remember back when the iPhone 3G was released when this was one of the "must have" apps of the time... Good times.

The latest iPhone OS 4.0 beta has revealed an option to setup tethering for those on AT&T stateside, bringing it the hope that all the iPhone users in the States can now step into a feature that was brought with iPhone OS 3.0, some 11 months ago. It's almost funny to think that as much as our telco carriers ream us for 3G data here in Aus, we're not sure exactly how good we have it.

Those of you still waiting for that long-rumoured Final Cut Pro update needn't fear that it'll be "dumbed down" like iMovie - Apple spokesperson Bill Evans has told CNET that the next version of Final Cut Pro will be "awesome", adding that "pro customers are going to love it".

Hey, you there! Go and play on your*iPad drum with those conductive fiber mallets you have there. Just don't hit the screen too hard, alright?

Today's Mac App is Squeeze, an app that is designed to help you free up some of that precious hard drive space - to get you started, Mac AppStorm have written a short tutorial - and with it, you'll be saving those gigabytes in no time!

When Steam launched, a collective "WTF" was heard globally as Mac users discovered that Steam stored all it's game data in ~/Documents, a location usually reserved for... um... documents. While their motives were good (as detailed in this Steam blog post), so many people complained that Steam have seen the error of their ways, and they will be moving the Steam game data folder to it's proper location, ~/Library/Application Support in the near future.

You might have heard about Air Video. You might have not. Either way, it's a great app for your iPhone or iPad, which, in it's most basic form, allows you to steam movies/video from your computer to your iPhone/iPad. The really cool thing? It even works over 3G, as well as Wi-Fi.

If you're worried your kids are staying up all night on their iPod touches, and your wireless network is served by some AirPort device, then this handy tip from MacWorld will allow you to setup access times.

Not a huge fan of the Twitter for iPhone update? The iPhone Blog have you covered with their gargantuan iPhone twitter app roundup.

Add another one to the "list of things you can file trademarks for", because*Apple just trademarked their retail store layouts. Yeah, you heard me - McDonalds have their golden arches, and Apple has it's store layout. Take that, Hamburgular!
