• Have you seen that Apple screensaver that pulls a feed of Apple's latest news and shows you what's hot at Infinite Loop over a blue background? No? Well, too bad for you - Websaver is a program that does a similar thing, except it's totally customisable with regards to whatever web content you want to display. Huge*egomaniac? Display your own twitter feed.

With so much internet kerfuffle going on about new iPad cases, stands (here's Veronica Belmont with her cat-a-stand) and other assorted accessories, Boing Boing show us how to make the ultimate iPad stand - one that's made out of it's own packaging materials. And hey, you'll even be able to make 4 stands per iPad! Amazing!

Is it just me, or are Apple trying to obsolete the almighty 30" Apple Cinema Display by June 15, 2010, even though it's still available for sale? Or, as HardMac mention, does the Apple document actually refer to a previous generation 30" Apple Cinema Display?

GameLoft make some pretty cool games for the iPhone, and they've just announced some more upcoming games hitting a virtual App Store shelf near you. On the list: Splinter Cell: Conviction, Iron Man 2, a Prince-of-Persia title, and Hero of Sparta 2.

"Fruit Ninja is a game so simple that it can be summed up in two words: chop fruit. Against a wooden backdrop, various kinds of fruit (and the occasional bomb) are tossed into the air. All you have to do is slide your finger across the screen to slice the fruit in half before it falls out of view. Three strikes and you're out. Hit a bomb and you're out. That's it." Thanks for the review, Slide to Play.

"If you’re lucky enough to have one of Apple’s latest gadgets, you’ll know that it doesn’t feel quite complete without with a gorgeous iPad wallpaper." Sure, that doesn't stop people simply making re-hashes of current wallpapers, but hey - anything's good when us Aussies don't even have the blessed device, right?

Looks like that Apple-Google relationship may be on the rocks after all - after announcing that Google Maps Navigation (a free turn-by-turn navigation app currently included with your Android device) would be coming to other platforms,*including*the iPhone, Google have supposedly clarified that an alternate product, Google Mobile Maps, will be available via the App Store at a later date.

Macworld review the recently-refreshed 13" MacBook Pro, telling us what's new, what's changed, and what's stayed the same. Macworld's buying advice? "If you already have the previous 13-inch MacBook Pro, there’s not a lot of reason to upgrade unless you simply must have the newest version of everything."

Patently Apple reveal that there's an obscure Apple patent which supposedly points to a touch-screen iMac.*Like the title, it's certainly very obscure, but hey - I guess that's the life and times for the US Patent Office, no?
