If you're looking at getting an Windows Phone 7 handset just to live on the wild side, then you're in luck. Your Ballmer spawn will sync to your Mac, and everything will be just fine.

Citysearch launched an augmented reality iPhone app. While augmented reality apps aren't really anything new, or anything special, all the*augmented*reality apps that I've tried, however, just don't work that well; either because of a lack of content or because they're not localised for Australia. Hopefully this Australian-centric app will change things for us Aussies.

Smoking Apples have a brilliant analysis on the next major version of iOS, Mac OSX Lolcat. Wait, I mean Ceiling Cat. Or is that Lion? Too many big cat names, too little time.

Provided you've got a fairly recent backup of your iOS device, you can restore pretty much any kind of information (including your incredible Angry Birds save-game) to you iOS device with a couple of simple tools.

The MobileMe Calendar is beta no more, now that Apple have promoted it from beta to fully-fledged calendar status. Hopefully you'll be seeing it the next time you visit the web interface, along with some handy new features, to boot.

One for the jailbreak crowd this morning is Wi-Fi sync. Version 2.0 is coming in December, along with a name-change due to the fact that it will support over-the-air syncing over the three's of gee.

It's sad that Skype for Windows is so much better than it's Mac counterpart. Even before the new 5.0 (as in Hawaii) hit Windows, the Mac version has always been behind in terms of gloss and polish. Not any more, say 9 to 5 Mac.

Anandtech ask the question: can the 13-inch MacBook Pro be a decent Windows*laptop?

I'm not sure if I like the bevelled look of this metal back iPhone 4 mod. It's actually insanely simple to replace the iPhone 4 back cover, and they also sell a whole lot of other cool stuff, too.

You know, I'm pretty sure there aren't many supermodels who have their very own iPhone app.*Bar Rafeli, then, must certainly be the exception. I don't know about you, but I'm holding out for the Victoria's Secret app.

    Apple Return after 15 Days

I just called the Apple Store in Perth, sure you can take it back (within 14 days) if you are unhappy with the item, and they will give you a full refund

Anyone found a good use for Launchpad yet?

Coming to OS X from iOS, I found Launchpad quite familiar and pleasant to use. Especially with a small screen (11"), it also keeps my Dock somewhat

    Thoughts/Opinions on OSX 10.10 Yosemite

If you know how, and you really want to have it on your main computer, create a partition, and install it there. I made the partition 100GB on my rMBP

    Apple Return after 15 Days

A little annoying, as I bought the 2.6 rMBP with 1TB and 16GB Ram on the 11th of this month. Thought they might get a refresh, but it would be in October,

    Thoughts/Opinions on OSX 10.10 Yosemite

I haven't had much time to play around with it, however, I do not like the colour of the new folder icons. That is all for now.

rMBP Updated 29/7/14 - nVidia GPU Worth it Over Intel Iris?

    The new MBP's look good.

Given the 'un-upgradability' of them though, I would be tempted to go for the top model with the dedicated graphics.

I've been using Yosemite for the past few days and had no issues at all!

rMBP Updated 29/7/14 - nVidia GPU Worth it Over Intel Iris?

Well the GPU is certainly faster than the one in your 2010 machine (though that's a given: even Iris graphics is faster and it's integrated): GeForce

Jump on the phone to them. If your lucky you'll get an american at this time of night. Worst case they're closed. If not then generally yes. Actually
