• Those of you lucky enough to have iPads better watch how you charge them - Apple have deemed this issue serious enough for a knowledge base article on the subject. I guess if knowing the difference between a disc and a disk is there, how to charge your iPad might as well be too!

Bad news if you've imported an iPad early, it seems - Apple have put documents online that specifically state that*iPads will have to be deposited in the country of purchase for any warranty repairs to happen. We'll see how this one pans out, alright?

You've heard the story behind the iPhone's default wallpaper - now hear the story behind the iPad's default wallpaper. Are those things stars taken over a long exposure, or are they asteroids?

Looking to create "an animated GUI which implements image transitions sequentially between images"? Don't -*Apple recently won that patent, and many others. By the way - the example I used? Cover flow.

The Apple Blog give us the low-down on the pros and cons of iPads in an education setting, and how it would likely impact (positively*or negatively) on student study and behaviours.

MuBlip is "where shakes and sounds go to play". I'm not entirely sure what that means, but it sounds like an app that should have been featured on Creative Applications - but hey, TouchArcade have taken a look instead.

Typography lovers and nerds will appreciate the fact that Mac.Appstorm have reviewed the latest version of Fontcase, a management program for those*thousands*of different fonts *you have on your system.

I guess the cool thing about viewing your App Store apps as a list (as opposed to a grid) is that the list is fast, and able to be ordered. That being said, you do lose the pretty icons for each app - so your mileage may vary.

The only thing I don't like about*Geometry Wars for iPad is that it isn't available on the iPhone - oh, and the fact that I don't actually have an iPad to play it on. That being said, it's still "an excellent arcade shooter".

Apple's A4 chip is fast. Real fast. How fast?*Certainly faster than, say, the 1Ghz Snapdragon chip found in Google Nexus One, say Anandtech.

Looks like Woz can do other things as well - here's*a Youtube clip of him preforming magic tricks while waiting line to buy an iPad outside the Valley Fair Apple store.

There's no PocketWeather HD MARK II SERIES 7 for iPad just yet, so those with itching for a weather app for their iPads will have to settle for*Weather Station Pro, by Toopia.

The Barracuda is a common HD in these machines, I'd do an SMC reset which should settle the fans down. Also check that all fans are operating properly/plugged
