First thing this morning is that Snow Leopard has gone Gold Master. That means the version that has been seeded to developers (10A432) will be the version that is released to the general public come October, and just like the iPhone 3.0 OS that did the same thing back in June, you could grab the Snow Leopard GM and no one would even know the difference...Speaking of Snow Leopards, Mac Rumors say that the installation process of 10.6 has been refined - there's no longer an "archive and install" option per se, instead, 10.6 is intelligent enough to detect that you've already got it installed and will automatically do one for you if you so require. There are a couple of other enhancements as well.
AT&T in the US have put out their own turn-by-turn GPS navigation app for the iPhone, and Macworld take a look. That's all well and good, but where's my Tom Tom?
New kid on the rumour block is that Apple shot a new commercial on-location, as opposed to the normal studio-based ones. What this entails is anyone's guess, but it'd be a good idea to check out the article in any case.

One interpid developer noticed that his Palm was sending data to Palm once a day, which included data such as which applications were installed, as well as how long each of the applications are used for, including third party ones. Scary, huh?
