I know the trend these days is to simplify things down to their bare essentials, but underneath all those pretty icons lies a... multi-core processor snoop filter? OpenFeint could be thought of as the pre-Game Center Game Center for games, but the thing about OpenFeint is that it now also supports*cross-platform multiplayer between iOS and Android.

The iOS 4.2 beta launched yesterday, and for those who haven't had the chance to play, iLounge have the best overview I've seen of all the new and updated features.

Trimming an MP3 on your Mac? Sure, you could do it with GarageBand, but OSX Daily show us how to do it with QuickTime instead.

Blaze is an iOS puzzle game with a bit of a twist. I know I might say that a bit, but in Blaze you literally have to twist the item you're setting alight until all the candles are lit.

Apple has posted some iPad in Business profiles to it's website, driving home the point that the iPad can also be used as a brilliant productivity tool instead of just for Angry Birds.
