Do you like Australian-made iPhone apps? If you do, then today is a good day.

AussieAppSale.com is a bunch of Aussie iPhone devs that have reduced the price on their apps for the next few weeks (from now - until Jan 2nd) in an effort to highlight the works of local developers.

Check the site out and if there's anything you like, buy it while it's cheap.

Read the full press release below. (I like the coat of arms better with an iPhone in it - would you agree?)

AUSTRALIAN iPHONE DEVELOPERS UNITE TO CREATE AUSSIEAPPSALE.COM
Coincidentally, Just In Time For A Christmas Sale!

Australia, 11/12/2009 – A group of Australian iPhone developers have joined together to create the nation’s largest collective promotion for Christmas this year. Aussie App Sale (www.aussieappsale.com) has launched it’s first ever Christmas event featuring exclusively Australian-made iPhone and iPod Touch apps, many which have dropped their prices for the event.

The website features a host of apps ranging from sports simulators, indie games and tarot reading, as well as the widely featured DrinkTracker app. “I’m impressed with the quality local developers are pushing out to this global market,” said website co- founder Anthony Sweet. “It deserves to be recognised, and I hope we attract more attention to our Aussie developers.”

“And this is just the start of our Christmas promotion. We’ve got more apps coming soon that we’ll be updating to the site throughout the holiday season, including JumboSquid’s highly anticipated Zogma.”
The Aussie App Sale starts today and ends January 2nd. Developers interested in joining the campaign should contact the Aussie App Sale website.

The Barracuda is a common HD in these machines, I'd do an SMC reset which should settle the fans down. Also check that all fans are operating properly/plugged
