We'll try to forget yesterday's inexcusable misdemeanour of incorrectly naming an Apple product, and instead, move on with the news...

Nehalem Mac Pros are all-powerful and all, but how about the fact they take a 20% performance hit when playing back audio? I'm sorry, come again? How something like that slips through the cracks is completely beyond me...

    Daring Fireball. With comments.

Amazon bought out some multi-touch company, in the hopes that they'll be integrate existing technologies into the next-gen Kindle. Well, that's what I'd expect them to do - here's to being able to rip out the pages of your favourite book, one by one!

Marco Arment says the internet needs another blog post about the iPad, and so he produces another blog post about the iPad. He also thinks that Apple will sell 3 million iPads this year, and that working on iPad-specific apps isn't going to be a huge payoff for developers.

Hardmac say that a new Mac Pro (with no less than SIX cores per processor) will be released unleashed on March 16. Mark the day in your calendars, people.

Looks like all those people that complained about the HUGE bezel on the iPad will get some sort of compromise - Apple filed a patent for a touch-sensitive bezel, which is a complete no-brainer if you think about it.

Apparently a Skype update will be released "soon", which, among other things, will allow Skype-goodness over the good ol' threes of gee, in light of Apple lifting the restrictions of VoIP over 3G.

There's now a velentines section in the iTunes Store - because everyone wants to make money from every public event possible, right?

Nine out of ten $1000+ (otherwise known as "premium") PCs sold in US retail stores are Macs. There are some people out there who just love their Genius Bars, okay?

Wired give us the best and the worst Apple Tablet mockups. Ah, hindsight - you are a cruel mistress indeed.
