• Veho 360 M4 Bluetooth Wireless Speaker

    Veho
    $69.95
PROS: Small, neat design; easy access to buttons
CONS: Volume and bass output is limited
    RATING: 3/5

The 360 M4 Bluetooth Wireless Speaker features two 2.2-watt speakers and measures 6.5cm high and 5.5cm in diameter. The Veho speaker is powered by a 600mAh rechargeable battery offering a five-hour battery life for Bluetooth users and 10 hours of audio playback for line-in users.

Veho has provided three methods to connect to the speaker: Bluetooth, a 3.5mm auxiliary cable and a micro SD card. The speaker is able to play MP3 and WMA files from the microSD card, which may limit some users music, and Veho includes an auxiliary cable for connecting a non- Bluetooth device.

Creating stereo sound, Veho has arranged two speakers in the 360 Bluetooth Wireless Speaker facing in opposing directions with adequate results. For those who are used to booming bass, the Veho will not impress. The upper-end audio dominates that below.

However, at its size and price, the speaker produces a clear sound, at a good volume.

Conveniently, the small speaker has a number of music- control buttons at the top, which allow users to adjust the volume and track and turn the device on or off.

At the base of the device, Veho has neatly hidden a switch to change the input method between Bluetooth and the hardware inputs, and around the sides resides the microSD card slot, 3.5mmm port and the miniUSB port to charge the speaker.

Overall, it is a very clean looking, cylindrical speaker that would suit any situation, around the home or outdoors. Available in black or ‘Ice’ white, the small speaker is a little hefty for its size, but will easily fit into a coat pocket or small bag. Also included in the box is a handy, string-drawn carry bag, a 3.5mm auxiliary cable and charging cable.

    Bottom line.
For those looking for an outdoor speaker that will offer adequate sound and volume output in a portable, sleek design, the Veho is a good option. Just don’t expect it to be the life of the party.
