View Full Version : XCode 1.5 released

I missed this one the other day, but I see XCode 1.5 is out:

You'll need a free registration with Apple's ADC to grab it. Highly recommended for those looking at either building their own software, or migrating GNU stuff across to MacOSX. It beats the hell out of Code Warrior, and it's free!

This is my first post on these forums. Hi everyone!

XCode is indeed wonderful, but downloading all the pieces, especially when the servers are this flooded, is a pain in the arse.

I highly recommend Eclipse (http://www.eclipse.org) if you are coding in Java, however. It really is pure sex, in IDE form.

Mint, unfortunately for me, I had just burned my Xcode 1.2 to a CD. But I don't think I'll be able to download this for a while anyway.

I'll happily burn the latest XCode to a CD for anyone in the Brisbane area. Just send me a PM and we can meet up somewhere.

Yeah, same deal for here in Melbourne. I've got XCode 1.5 and if anyone wants a copy, you're free to pick it up from my place :)

I might take you up on that offer when I arrive in Melbourne in October and get settled in, decryption. :)

Whoever wants it in Sydney can talk to me.

I am getting it now, at 56k speeds. (and I am on ADSL).

It's also available as a torrent here:

for those who have trouble downloading from Apple's server.
