I use synergy to share my wireless mouse and keyboard between my PC and my iBook. It works great (except windows has issues if you start up the computer without the iBook connected via ethernet, but I digress) but I have a few mouse shortcut buttons set up for my PC which I'd like to work in different ways on my iBook.

The one that I really want to do is map Ctrl-Tab to Command-Option-Right Arrow. Ctrl-Tab is "next tab" in firefox, and Command-Option-Right Arrow is "next tab" in camino. Even if I change browsers, I want this button to be able to change tabs on both computers.

Is there a utility that can translate keystrokes and remap them?

I found one that does the job, plus a whole lot of extra stuff... it's called Keyboard Maestro. Now if only I could find one that could translate a middle click on my mouse to a Command-Left Click to open links in new tabs...
