PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

This thread is going to be a precursor to another follow up thread but I want to keep the point a surprise.

Of course there is no such empirical photo. Please don't say why you chose it. Yet.

Either choose it on the basis of
1, you would like to have taken it
2, you never tire of it
3, it just touches you for reasons that you don't even know
4, you just like it
5, it just springs to mind
6, or...no reason at all
7, It can be a well known photo or it can be one of your own shots or a friend's, or it can be a very well known image. The quality of the image does not matter. It could be a passport shot from the 70's, there's no rules other than listed here. It need not be deliberately taken, serendipity is fine.
8, TRY NOT to pick something that you think will impress others due to it's obscureness. You know what I mean.
9, ABOVE ALL, just pick one only.

I'd prefer that there was no comment. The reason for this will be apparent in the follow up thread. It can be your own shot or someone you know, it need not be a famous photo. As long as it satisfies the 7 points.

Any questions just ask and I'll answer them in this first post.

I'd like to thank @Vojtin and @Minkey, that is the correct spirit, the photos will not be judged as that is not what this is about. I hope to delight and surprise everyone with the follow up thread, maybe when there are about 20 entries.

WTF I don't get it?

Nobody did, except John and Yoko who were doing it. They lived in their bed. They got extremely weird.

Patience, Iím told, is a virtue. And a question should have a question mark (all intoned in the manner of Horatio Caine). Or how about Dirty Harry? :D

Given that Gallet hasn't posted on Mactalk since this thread was started I hope he/ she is OK but I suspect this thread is dead.
Pity - I wanted to see where it was headed.
