OK I have all these loverly little videos sitting on my computer I would like to drag and drop or import into iTunes but it doesnt do it. Im guessing it is limiting it to music store? Or is this going to be another useless function?

Video playback has been available in iTunes for a while, before 6. If you can't drag them into iTunes, they're the wrong format, I've got stacks of video clips I've downloaded from the web in my library

the videos have to be mpeg or .mov files, they cant be avi or anything else.

Use something like ffmpegX (http://homepage.mac.com/major4/) and convert to MP4 (with H.264 compression). I have found this to work quite well.

If they can be played in Quicktime, check out one of the link in the side bar of the Appletalk website home. There is way of making a reference file that will allow the movies to be played in iTunes 6.

I'm wondering if this is also a way to play avi movies in FrontRow as well.
