Hi all

I am looking to buy a second hand iPad and wondering what should I look for?

Is there any known defects, troublesome issues, manafacturing or usage wear and tear points I should look out for?

Also do the 3G models have an IMEI?

Any advice from owners/previous owners would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. Motef

Ask for photos.

Should update to 3.2.2 iOS version and it should be sweet to go. Any other issues can be addressed via the Apple Store since it is covered under warranty. iOS 4 is coming out next month for the iPad too.

3G models have an IMEI.

I wouldn't buy one that hadn't been protected by a case and screen protector since new. I think the only issues to look out for are cosmetic, eg check the screen & back for scratches but also the dock connector for liquid or physical damage (maybe shine your iPhone 4 LED flash in there).
