Hi,
I have been searching the web high and low trying to find out what the largest HD Ican upgrade to in a late 2009 MacBook Pro 13".
There seem to be issues with the available height in the unibody case and some discussion on speed.
Can anyone give a straight answer on whether a 1TB hard drive can be fitted to this laptop and any preferences:confused:

No it cannot. Have a read of the comments here. (http://www.engadget.com/2009/07/27/wd-ships-industrys-first-2-5-inch-1tb-hard-drive/)
The WD 1TB drive is 12.5mm tall but the laptop only has 9.5mm clearance.

The largest drive that you can buy that will fit is WD 750 Scorpio Blue.

The 1TB WD drive fits in a 2010 13" if that's any help? Had one in mine since day 1.

12mm drives will fit into Unibody MBPs, the 2009 13" is one of them I'm pretty sure.
