can anyone help?

everytime a particular supplier sends me a PDF attachment (they use OS 9), i keep getting the following message and no attachment...

'This message cannot be displayed because of the way it is formatted. Ask the sender to send it again using a different format or email program.

multipart/alternative'

also do not receive it when they re-send it. i use mail and 10.3.9. any suggestions would be much appreciated.

thanks in advance

You could also check what type of encoding they have set for attachments, I can't remember which one is best for Entourage (I know AppleDouble is best for Eudora). This was the most common way I got senders to fix attachment they sent me which wouldn't open.

On the same track, I use Entourage and lately have had a couple of people say they can't open my attached files (they are just .jpg) , I use Apple-double encoding by default.
These people are PeeCee users, can anyone tell me what could be going wrong?

Thanks Vid
