Hi

I want to Draw some underwater maps for using when I brief Scuba Divers , so I need a 3d Drawing software that I can Draw Topography, rocks, sand, reefs, wrecks, maybe fish also nice and water, etc - I have done previously in 2d but want to try 3d.
So any advice or recommendations what would be the best simple software to use would be great , as I have googled but most seem to be for animation or buildings , I need more for landscape and general stuff
thanks
mark

Definitely checkout Google Sketchup (http://sketchup.google.com/). Very simple to get the hang of and does some pretty nifty stuff - especially for the price (free).

The good thing about Google Sketchup ( apart from a $0 purchase price of course ) is that they also have a great online library where you can download lots of symbols and objects for free.
