Love my new mac Book Pro, but frustrating that despite having then iWorks apps I still have to use my old computer with Windows Office to send letters as people cannot open.
Any ideas?

Get OpenOffice (http://www.openoffice.org/): its free. Its compatible with MS Office, and as long as you remember to make your default "save as" the MS filetype, you'll be fine. OO defaults to .odt, which MS Office can't read, so you will need to either change the default or do a save as and change the filetype every time you do a save..

You could always just save your letters in iWork (Pages) as Word documents - don't forget to add the ".doc" at the end of it.

And I'm fairly sure if you buy 08 now you get a free upgrade to 2011.
