View Full Version : Keyboard Repairs?

Hi everyone.

I'm a long time lurker, first time poster...

Ok, so my dog got a fright during a thunderstorm and jumped up on the keyboard of my powerbook while I was working with it on my lap. Now the "g" key, the "j" key, and the option key are now sticking a little bit up... The keys have not dislodged but are not really sitting flat like they were before. I had a fiddle myself, but I don't want to damage the keys, or the plastic bits underneath them.

I was wondering if anyone has had the same experience, and if so, how did they remedy it (cheaply)? Anybody know of any good places in Melbourne that don't charge a lot for this type of simple repair?

BTW, I'm using a 17inch G4 Powerbook.
