The photographs taken with the front camera donīt match with the position you can see on the screen. For example:

If youīre pointing to the left and clearly see it on the screen, the picture would be you pointing to the right.

Is there any way to change this?
Is it only my phone?

Thanks.

I tried on my old Macbook and the Macbook Pro using Photo Booth, Skype, and aMSN:

Always the image is a reflection and does not alter the position.

If I take a photo with text this is what happens:
-Photo taken with Macbook Proīs webcam - The text is not readable
-Photo taken with the frontal camera of the iPhone - The text is readable

The iPhone 4 flips the photo after it's been taken. Use your Mac or download another app to flip the image back if you want it that way. Can't do it in Camera app.

The iPhone 4's live camera view works like a mirror, the photo is what the camera actually sees.

Thanks NeoRicen.

Thatīs what I wanted to know: itīs not only my phone and thereīs not an option in Settings to change it.

I would prefer to donīt have the pictures flipped automatically but well, thatīs what Apple did. Maybe theyīll change it in one of its numerous revisions.
