I have a 3G iPhone running OS4.
Everything perfect until today.

When I try to SMS or ring another phone - I get the 'Not connected to a cellular network' error.

Have l missed a bill, although I haven't had any reminders etc.

What are my options? Thank you.

I've been getting a similar error with my 3G. I still have the carrier logo displayed not "no signal" but no bars or 3G symbol. The only way I can get network access again is to reboot, it reoccurs 4-5 days later. Lather, rinse, repeat.

I very occasionally get the same issue on my 3G. A reboot fixes it. Haven't had the problem since updating the iOS, though. In fact, I think it resolved after one of the iOS 3 updates. I'm with Optus (not for very much longer!), which may be a contributing factor.

Option 1. Call your Telco.
Option 2. Post a forum thread.

You got the options the wrong way around.

I've always found the forum more helpful than Optus!
