Wow. Can't beat that. Is your Mac really 2000 years old? (24000+ months)

Its really 3 years old :D

I think the timing issue is due to my absence of serial number.

Wow, that's it after 3 years? Warranty replacement?

Of course not! Its a battery, its a consumable.

One would assume it would roll back to the date being 1/1/1970.

Challenge accepted.
My battery has zero ability to power the laptop, such that it will downclock itself to 1GHz at all times. I'd call that worse!

Hey lord what did you use to upload your pic?

Just to make you jealous and also to ask why it says my original battery capacity is 1300mAh

EDIT: Wait, unless your battery capacity actually is 12697mAh? Unibody MacBook/Pro, right?

I'm starting to think I charge my MacBook a bit too much.

I missed out on my macs birthday by one month. So close haha

Mine might be worse haven't checked less than 50% health after 30 cycles decreasing rapidly so new battery in there at 90% health after 2 hours usage

Since everyone is posting battery status pictures...
This is my 15" MacBook Pro that I got in March 2009.

My battery was worse than this, unfortunately I can't show you because the computer was stolen last month.

That's with the *original* battery? Hasn't been in for service or had a new one put in it?

Still covered under AppleCare? Sure you'd be coming close to the three years but they might even replace it for you.

- It's under 80% health, and hasn't had more than 300 cycles.

Wow, your batteries suck! First battery. Nothing special about how I use it. Go to uni, let it run down, recharge when I get home usually.

The charge level drops like the seconds are counting down, hits about 76% and then no warning everything just goes black :D

Laptop is more than 3 years old, however the battery is the second replacement.

Yep, thats the original battery that shipped with it back in November 2007. The machine's never been in for a service so I know for a fact that its still the original battery. I still get a good 3 - 4 or so hours out of it depending on how I use the machine. If I turn the backlight all the way down, don't use any bus powered peripherals (in particular my 3G dongle, it sucks battery power like there's no tomorrow) or optical disks and just be as gentle as possible on the power 4 hours is easily achievable.

i win

http://img168.imageshack.us/img168/1752/battery.png

- this started around 1 year after purchased (no applecare). it's now about 2 years.
- i get about 15mins
- yes it's done <100 cycles
- ive been meaning to call apple CR and get it replaced. applecare or no applecare this is atrocious.
- i had the actual machine die, twice. once under warranty the other out of warranty and had it repaird both times.

my luck with apple products is appauling. ive ordered the latest unibody 17" i7, if that has ANY faults ill be forced to turn my back on apple. third time yer out! (the first was a dodgy macbook 2006).

I managed to squeeze a full 9 hours out of my White Early 2007 MacBook. Left my powercable at home accidently, so off went ALL features I didn't really need. Everything from airport, to bluetooth, to sharing services (FTP/AFP/SMB/Printers/internet/web)... you name it it was off.
