This is a little app I have had for over a month now.

Its a free open source virus scanner based on the infamous clamav engine. OsX may not have virus's yet but the PC sitting next to me can be made quite sick. Becasue of this I use Clamxav :)
Today it picked up its first virus, which I promtly deleted. The Sentry which scans selected folders constantly uses little resources.

Please note this scans and tells you you have a virus it doenst get rid of it or repair the file.

Yeah I have had it installed for some time now. Given the fact that it is free and is updated fairly regularly it is an absolute bargain. Scans occasionally show that there is a virus or trojan in emails received but so far nothing else. Gives you the option to quarantine what it has found for you to deal with later.
