Something that we need to know before we choose which capacity to order..

When you play with the iPad, can you determine if using the camera connection kit "scales down" photos as the iPod Touch currently does.

If so, then the iPad, still droolworthy, wont be a travelling companion for backing up camera contents in foreign countries if it destructively alters files to suit its own display.

also study at what angle you hold it at mostly, then take a photo of yourself with a diigcam from the same location as you'd expect an on-board camera to be. Does it look up your nose to the oigles and snarbies your growing in there? or does it skim your forehead to to show a ceiling?.
Not for nothing Jony Ives is a clever designer.

I'd also like to know how it handles RAW files on import too!

Even 64GB would probably not be enough for me on a trip. Thank goodness for my handy dandy SD Card backup device (350GB laptop HDD in a battery case with a few buttons and SD card slot). Oh plus I have Four 16GB Cards, so thats enough for 8000 images to start with, so the HDD is only used as a backup just in case :)
