hey guys,
has anyone had any experience buying a laptop off the refurb store?

what happens with warranties and so on.

Hi there. It's like any other item that you buy brand new. It comes with a 12 month warranty and you can purchase apple care within 364 days to extend the warranty by another 2 years. The only difference is that you don't get the pretty box and obviously the machine itself was refurbished. All cables etc are brand new.

As above. Most people report that their item looks like brand new. Main difference is that it will be in a plain box, rather than the normal retail packaging. I have bought a few things off the Refurb store and have been quite happy with the condition and saving over buying new.
Just search for "refurb" or "refurbished" on this forum and you will find plenty of other people asking the same thing.
