I can get a hyperlink to appear in the address bar. Pretty odd?

For instance, go to this page: Saturday-Night-Live.com Forum • View forum - SNL Talk (http://www.saturday-night-live.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=13)

And highlight the "Talk" part of SNL Talk mid way down the page (just above the search this forum button). Then copy it, and paste it into your address bar.

For me, that makes "SNL Talk" become a hyperlink in the address bar which if you click, opens in a new window.

Odd!

I have most recent build of Safari and I can't do that. Tried it in Chrome and no luck there either.
SNL Talk is a link in itself. When I click the text and copy it I just get the text. Obviously I can copy the link as well by right clicking and selecting that option.

I can't seem to replicate that either.

Hmm, strange that you can't replicate it.

It;s even stranger now, I can get full formatting (see the background colour) to display in the address bar. This time I copied the topic title from Saturday-Night-Live.com Forum • View topic - April 15th- SNL in the 2000's (http://www.saturday-night-live.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2904)
