I am looking at battery options for my 17" Powerbook (A1057). Current battery has held no charge for a long time (a couple minutes on best though will stay in sleep happy enough)

Apple batteries are $200 — Rechargeable Battery - 17-inch PowerBook G4 - Apple Store (Australia) (http://store.apple.com/au/product/M9326G/A?mco=MTY3ODQ5OTY)
Epowermac has Newertech batteries for $226 — Powerbook Battery G4 Aluminium Laptop 17" - Epowermac (http://www.epowermac.com.au/shop/pc/Powerbook-Battery-G4-Aluminium-Laptop-17-629p461.htm)
MacFixit has the Newertech battery for $228 — Batteries - PowerBook G4 17" Aluminum Batteries - NuPower® PowerBook G4 17" Al 67 Watt-Hour Battery Replacement - MacFixit Australia - Shop For Apple Macintosh Accessories, Apple Mac Upgrades, MacBook and MacBook Pro Battery, Mac Screen LCD, Phone C (http://www.macfixit.com.au/shop/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=254)
OWC has (different?) Newertech battieres for $US99 — Performance Upgrades; FireWire USB SATA Storage; Memory, more at OWC (http://eshop.macsales.com/Customized_Pages/Framework.cfm?page=nwt_battery/powerbook_g4_17.html)

Anyone use an OEM battery like the Newertech, or have recommendations?

I have also noted another OEM for $125 — Apple PowerBook G4 17-inch Battery - Replacement PowerBook G4 17-inch Battery (http://www.laptopbatteryinc.com.au/apple-powerbook-g4-17-inch.html)

got it off ebay man, there is tonnes, its not an official 'apple' battery, but it was less than half price, so even if i have to buy two i'll be better off.
