Hi all

I know Windows is a dirty word here, but I recently got the chance to install Windows 7 on my netbook. It's a Kogan Agora Pro. It runs beautifully, but one of the things I'd really love to do is to hook it up to my 20 Inch Aluminium Apple Cinema Display.

I have bought the VGA-DVI adaptor for it, and I thought it might just be a case of plugging it in, but the netbook isn't able to detect the Cinema Display at all.

I assume it's got something to do with drivers, but, as this is my first experience with hooking Windows up to an external display, I'm pretty clueless. Does anyone have any ideas?

The cinema display is DVI-D which means there is no analogue input to the display e.g. via a VGA adapter.

Essentially the ACD is purely a digital device designed to work with DVI only.

That would explain it. Guess I should have looked into it before I bought the adapter. Thanks for the advice.
