Is there a simple CAD app?
What i would like is a CAD app where i can enter simple dimensions (dimensions of a tallboy) and it will draw the item for me. Does this app exist?

Cheers,

Steve

The only CAD apps I know are ones that are pretty full on!

Unless there is a simple one. Which I doubt, especailly for the mac platform. It's all Pro!

There are some fairly simple programs available which are along the lines of "Design your own Kitchen", "Design your own bathroom" etc. They are for the relatively novice CAD users. Have seen them at Hardly Normal and the like, but have never used... Too basic for some, but might be what you're after.

I've done a quick google search for "kitchen cad software" and got quite a few results, but haven't linked to any as I'm not sure exactly how involved you want to get with it.

Ikea have a pretty cool program (PC only unfort) which lets you type in dimensions and design your own office, kitchen, whatever. But yeah, need access to a PC :(

Download from http://www.ikea.com/ms/en_AU/rooms_ideas/o...e/download.html (http://www.ikea.com/ms/en_AU/rooms_ideas/office/download.html)

I think you would be able to find something suitable.

EDIT: As a side note, I've always had the impression that the CAD world is quite Mac friendly. At high school, we had Macs for the main purpose of using the CAD software, which was pro level high end stuff.
