That guy's a freak. He's not really interested in being first to get the iPad--he just wants to be First full-stop. I hope someone beats him someday.

Idiot called the iPad a "mini laptop" and didn't clearly articulate what it is or what he wanted it for. Moron.

One person does NOT constitute a queue!

Only if people line up behind him does he then become first.

Decryption, start your OWN line holding a big sign thast say

"OFFICIAL IPAD QUEUE BEHIND ME"

you could even add in small type 'By order of Steve"

"When you get to JFK, the best way to get into/out of the city is via SuperShuttle. (SUPERSHUTTLE - Airport Shuttle | Airport Transfer | (http://www.supershuttle.com/)) it costs about $20 - $25 per person into manhattan (plus tip). They will drop you to your door. MUCH cheaper than a cab."

I would not use SuperShuttle under any circumstances. We were left at JFK at 2 a.m, despite having paid in advance for the transfer to Manhattan. The driver insisted on taking people who hadn't booked, but were paying cash.
A car service to JFK from Manhattan is around $60. I'd pay it anytime in preference to SuperShuttle.
SuperShuttle is simply not worth the trouble you might encounter, in my opinion.

I think you are a bit late with your advice Jimdrum.
They are already there.

Yes, but they're not home yet.
Perhaps others who are travelling to N.Y.C. might benefit from my rotten experience with SuperShuttle, too.
Can't wait for their first impressions of the iPad!
