OK...here's a curly one (I think) for everyone...

I have one specific folder which, when I try to open, 99 times out of a hundred (figuratively, of course, I haven't actually counted) causes Finder to crash...

I've attached the latest crash report:

Process: Finder [972]
Path: /System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app/Contents/MacOS/Finder
Identifier: com.apple.finder
Version: 10.6 (10.6)
Build Info: Finder_FE-6650000~6
Code Type: X86-64 (Native)
Parent Process: launchd [143]

Date/Time: 2010-03-08 14:27:58.050 +1100
OS Version: Mac OS X 10.6 (10A432)
Report Version: 6

Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x000000000055412d
Crashed Thread: 12

Application Specific Information:
objc_msgSend() selector name: length
...

And it goes on...

Any thoughts??

What is in the folder?
What is the name of the folder?

Can you make a copy of the folder and does the copy crash?

You can try moving Macintosh HD\Library\Preferences\com.apple.windowserver.plis t to your desktop.
Restart then try opening the folder again.
