Hey guys,

Anyone know any good software (hopefully free) for editing DivX files???

I have recently become a closet addict of The O.C. and d/led the second episode which i missed a coupla weeks back... only issue is the audio is leading the video something shocking. Normally it's no issue, but i got to chatting with some mates and it is a common thing sometimes. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Cheers,
The sad and ever bored

Does divx doctor do the job? http://doctor.3ivx.com/ I'm not sure of anything else that I can think of. Or use a player like VLC that allows audio synching http://www.videolan.org/. Make sure you have all the up to date codecs also.

I have used the official Divx codec, and also the 3ivx codec. And I find, depending on how the video file was encoded originally (and sometimes on what application you are using to play it back) audio problems can often be solved by alternating between the codecs.

If you are decoding with divx now, then try 3ivx instead. And vice versa.

Where is audio syncing in VLC? I can't find it, or maybe I am looking in the wrong spot!
