Hi,

I have just imported a new album and when I view it on iTunes I get the cover art for each individual song. How do I make it so that the album has all the songs in one cover like the others?

Thanks in advance.

You'll need to set them as a compilation. Select all, get info, options, 'part of a compilation'.

Thanks for the tip. I just tried what you suggested but it still doesn't compile everything together. It's almost as if it doesn't apply the settings when I press ok because when I go back in to the settings the tick box for compilation is not ticked even though i did have it ticked.

Select all of the songs then 'get info'. Make sure the Album Title and year is the same for all and that they are all disc 1 of 1. Album Artist I usually put as Various and it seems to leave the track artist as is.

I've found the "Contibuting Artist" needs to be the same rather than the artist field.

They can have their own 'Artist' but Album Artist should be the same (eg, 'Various Artists') and then mark as a compilation.

I had a similar problem which I did solve - refer to this post:

iTunes - tracks not mergeing into single album (http://forums.mactalk.com.au/11/40411-itunes-tracks-not-mergeing-into-single-album.html)

Hope this helps
