I just took the hard drive out of an old iBook G3 600Mhz. Will this enclosure work to put the drive in and access it?

No, thats an enclosure designed for SATA hard drives, no PowerPC iBook/PowerBook ever used SATA drives, instead they used PATA/IDE drives, you'll need to get a 2.5" PATA enclosure, such as this (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/USB-2-0-IDE-2-5-HDD-Hard-Disk-Drive-Enclosure-Case-Grn_W0QQitemZ200442396939QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_Def aultDomain_15?hash=item2eab4c410b#ht_2787wt_1167) one.
