Guys I need your help I receivied an email from postcards@hallmark.com. I tried to open the zip file a few times
I googled the email address, only to find out that this is some sort of virus. I want to know how it will effect my imac. The email was worded just a bit differently, and led me to believe a friend sent it to me. I've since marked the email as junk, and deleted it from my junk mailbox. I also deleted all the zip files, etc.

Do I need to do anything I am new to the mac world and I am worried that I have infected my new imac or does this virus only affect windows

Thanks in advance

I doubt that this 'virus' would affect you as a Mac user - but it might be a good idea to download one of the free scanners and run through it to see if anything's wrong.

I downloaded this and when I scanned it came up with a virus in my junk mail box from Twitter this time saying that I had a friend request and I had to open the zip file to see who is was yeah sure!!! I don't even use Twitter!! so that being the only problem it seems that when I opened the other email from hallmark my mac was not infected phew !

thanks really appreciate the help, my panic attack is now over :)
