I want a good RTS for the iPad. It has the nice screen, plenty of space around the side for hotkeys, ahhhh. I hope someone makes a great RTS for the iPad.

Real-time strategy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Real-time_strategy)

Like: Age of Empires, B4ME, Civilisation, etc.

RTS on a touch-screen? I don't think so. I've played a few, including the Red Alert app (which most say is the best RTS on the iPhone).

But turn-based strategy? Yes, definitely!

I do think its a perfect gametypr too, looking at various touch based warcraft 3 demos I've seen.

I also think something like Diablo could work rather well.

Of course one thing I really want to see if iPad versions of the various adventure games. Upscaled iPod games won't cut it.

I am currently preparing to develop a RTS App for the iPad. It will be similar to the game Company of Heroes. To check out the website, go here (.com domain coming soon): Synchronicity Programing | App Creation (http://www.wix.com/syncpro/synchronicity-programing)

If you have any questions or concerns you can find my email there. Enjoy

Friendly word of advice man, write the app before selling it. Focus your core on *dev*ing the game, once you've actually got gameplay and screenshots, then you can start hyping it.

Good luck.

Civ Rev and Red Alert are both on there mate, $12 each. Both are pretty decent. Red Alert is a bit basic, and can get boring after a while.
Civ Rev is pretty much spot on in terms of gameplay, simplified nicely from the desktop version, but still lots of depth and tactics.
Much more convenient than a laptop, and they don't kill much battery.

That makes extremely good sense. Thank you for the advice!
