Hello,
I recently bought a second hand macbook pro (2008 model) but it did not have the original install disks. Does anyone know where these can be purchased from?
Thanks,
Cheryl.

You could try call Apple and tell them your serial number/model. I think you can purchase replacement ones for about $30ish.

I remember having to call them up for my 2008 Macbook. It was free for me because NextByte scratched my original disks when I showed them my faulty Superdrive. The replacement disk was a generic looking disk in a paper sleeve.

Hope that helps :)
