HI Guys, Happy New YEar for tonight.

Just a question. I have all my media on an external connected to a wireless network through a time capsule.

I am searching for a solution that will automatically mount this drive when it mounts my time capsule drive.

I always forget to do it, so I run plex and sit down to watch something and always have to shut it all down and get the drive and start again.

Any possible solutions?

Thanks

Matt

You could add the volume to your login items, then it would auto mount whenever you logged in.

Or you could use this script making application Automount Maker (http://jm.marino.free.fr/index.php?switch=main_).

It allows you to add timed delays to running the mount script and it also pings to make sure the drive is even there before running the script.

You could include these scripts in your login items and make an alias to them, so that if the volume should unmount for whatever reason you can quickly get it back.
