View Full Version : My Bullets have gone!!

Hi All,

I seemed to have lost my Bullets in Word. They appear as little squares, and is quite annoying.

I have no clue how to correct this... can someone possibly let me know if this is an easy fix.

option+8 will give you a bullet.

The bullet style can be changed via the 'Bullets and Numbering' selection under the format menu.

Failing that the font you are using may not contain bullets?

View - Formatting Palette
then expand the Bullets and Numbering section...

and you can select the style there - whether you want bullets, squares, numbers, words, and other icons.

NOPE! I have tried changing the font, I have tried changing the style of the bullets... They all just turn out Squares.

I will take a screen shot and post shortly.

Tried rebuilding your font cache? Also update to the latest patch available (MS tend to release this regularly)

I just tried reinstalling my SYMBOL font, but that did not work either.

Office is updated to the latest version. GRRR... this is annoying. I need them in just about every document I produce!!

Can you copy and past a few lines of bullets and text from an old document you have? Then by hitting return on the last one - you can keep expanding the proper bullet list.

If so then just keep doing that in the interim so you can keep going while you work on a permanent solution.
