Hi All,

Is there a way to disable those annoying little yellow boxes that show you the address of the link that you are hovering your mouse pointer over in Safari. There are several sites (news mainly) that effectively have every piece of screen real estate tagged and causes Safari to present its little pop-ups. Very annoying.
Any help?

Thanks.

Good question. Safari used to be able to block these. Has something changed in the latest version?

Yeah, you can still block pop ups of the advertising kind, but these are the yellow background ones that reveal the full web address of a link or image. They eventually disappear if you hold over it for about 10 seconds or so, but when you move to a new link it starts all over again. I'd like to turn this off all together.

Google the words 'disable', 'safari' and 'tooltips'.
