I found this cool app and its free.
Battorox monitors easy and simple the Battery information in your laptop including its capacity, current capacity, current capacity in percent, cycle count, voltage, amps and the flags.

It does what it says on the tin and i can see how many times ive plugged in my battery to charge it in the cycle count.
I might do a poll see how many times people have charged their machines.

System Profiler gives all that information i think.

Matt.

Edit: Checked System Profiler and all that information is there. Not quite sure what the point of the application is.

Ahh i see.

One other thing i noticed that System Profiler doesn't do is display battery temperature.

Although not too important, that application would be a lot cooler as a Dashboard and Konfabulator widget :D

But i guess its not somethiing you need to keep your eye on all the time however.

Guess this machine of my wifes is still a baby.. I sold my Powerbook 15 with a cycle count of about 66 or so I thought..

Its good tiger shows this information, panther should of too I reckon in the same spot, my guess is the app pulls this info from whatever place apple hid it from
