Hi all, I'm trying to copy a DVD with MacTheRipper and I can't because of the ARccOS (Advanced Regional Copy Control Operating Solution) is there a way around this.

Don't know the answer, but you may be better off going to the ripdifferent forums and searching for the DVD name you're trying to rip.
Normally the arccos stuff is just a warning and it rips fine + putting thro dvd2onex will help.

Or you may want to try RipItApp for creating images of your personally authored DVDs...

Or check out Fairmount, Fairmount can be a little picky at times, it doesn't always work perfectly

For some odd reason, I find that DVDs which defeat MTR will often be ripped perfectly by the absolutely ancient DVD Backup on my absolutely ancient iBook G3.
And what is happening with MTR? Version 3 must have been in development for 2 or 3 years now.
