Hi all I am trying to burn a DVD with Toast Titanium that is 6.5GB but the movie is to big for the blank DVD, I selected main title only and that shrank it to 5.8GB still to big for the DVD, can anyone help me with this problem.

Go dual layer disc?

Click the "fit to disk" checkbox.

It's been at the bottom left for the last 3 versions at least.

Then you can tailor what goes on the disc in the main pane.

You need software that will compress the DVD to under 4.7 Gb like Roxio's Popcorn.

You first need to save the file as a disc image (File - Save As -> Disc Image)

Then mount the image, grab the Video TS folder from it and drop it into Toast

Now when you burn, make sure the Fit To DVD box (located bottom left corner) is ticked.

Now try burning again :)

Or simplest way... Get dvd20neX
It will burn if you want or you can use Toast with the result (4.7GB)

DVD2oneX 2.4.0 software download - Mac OS X - VersionTracker (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/19238)
