Mail problem - images missing in 'resends'

Since buying a new iMac which I migrated to from my old iMac using migration assistant, every message in Mail that I go to forward or resend has the image in my signature or messages missing. This is a tad inconvenient as I then need to copy and paste from the original.

Is there any simple solution to this?
